How Does It Happen?

Here is how e-Commerce Scams unfold.

Example of a scammer attracting attention with ridiculously low prices before asking for more money:

1 You spot an online offer that is extremely attractive.

2 Once contacted, they rush you to pay quickly and inform you that the stock/offer is limited.

3 Seller fails to deliver the goods or delivers a counterfeit product and will block your number/account.

4 They may even delay your delivery and request more fees to scam you for more money.

Here is what you can do to protect yourself.

Do not fall for online offers that seem too good to be true.

Don’t rush into buying or selling goods.
